Raising prices for their customers so their ceo can go to Rome. People are looking at double their bill from last month and they have a near monopoly on the area. Hate that this is what things are coming to. Would go without electricity all together if I could.
After lightning struck a pole near my house it took them almost an entire week to actually fix it. Also because they didn't fix it right away caused a surge to fry a bunch of my electrical. Causing thousands of dollars in damage. They also left roughly 30 feet of wire in my yard that I had to pick up despite the incident happening in an "easement" behind my house. Also my bill this month was over 500 dollars when it typically sits around 150 because of this fund increase yet no improvements can be seen.
At my old apartment they were charging $300-$400 a month. At my new apartment it started out low and now they are trying to leech us for money again! Our bill has increased over 100% in the last month! And there suggestion was to keep the apartment at 80F. Most definitely not! We can't afford our bill but don't qualify for financial aid. Ameren sucks. If they didn't have a monopoly I would most definitely switch.
Unreal..they get tax cut after tax cut, bail out after bail out, but keep increasing customers bills, I thought it's illegal to monopolize products in America but not for big corporations. And we can't even switch if we wanted to, they have a monopoly in certain areas, and should be illegal. . If I don't want Amern, I shouldn't be forced to spend my money on a product I don't want
Awful. The suck at restoration.
