Initially, I was really happy with how quickly they got me in for my brain MRI, but unfortunately the billing experience afterward has completely changed my opinion. Before my appointment, Amera obtained prior authorization through my insurance and I was told to expect to pay around $300–$400. I paid $300 the day of my MRI. Staff was friendly and professional. The facility was pristine.
While the facility was clean and efficient, I had never been to an MRI and had no idea what I was in for, and was given no explanation. After a week, I did not receive my results, nor did my doctor. I had to call and get the information to get access.
The staff are friendly and the tech was very helpful and thorough. Eli was very patient. I recommend this imaging center with 5 stars . Thank you to all involved in my care. Cordially, C. Marie Cline
