DR. Aboukasm has been my neurologist for over 20 yrs. Previous to him I had 3 others who could not control my problems. He takes time to return calls, even at 8 at night. This man is an ace, a 5 star DOCTOR.
He is an excellent doctor. He has provided for my brother for 5 yrs. my brother moved here from Illinois and is under VNS therapy and seizure control meds
Dr. Aboukasm has been my husbands neurologist for many years. He always listens and takes time to answer questions. He returns phone calls promptly.
I have seen Dr. Aboukasm for over ten years and as a doctor I have never been more happy with him as he will listen to you and answer any questions without waiting for another time. Henry Ford has a Great Doctor on their hands and I would certainly refer him to all I know.
Dr. Aboukasm paid very little attention to anything I had to say. I was attempting to get some answers to some neurological issues. He ordered test and from the results he misdiagnosed me with Guillain Barre Syndrome. His biggest concern was trying to get me to do his sleep study test. I ended up seeing another doctor at DMC and he ordered special blood test and diagnosed me with a rare neurological disease and began treatments to slow down it’s progression. I would not recommend Dr. Aboukasm.

Dr. Aboukasm took the time to listen to my health concerns, I did not feel rushed. He diagnosed my issue, and I was set up for a sleep study . Dr. Aboukasm went above and beyond to answer my follow care and phone calls. Dr. Aboukasm comes across as compassionate and kind. I would highly reccommend.
Doctor upped medications for no reason. Mom started falling after this and having severe psudo-seizures along with black out seizures. Mom ended up in hospital twice and kept calling his office to see him right away. He couldn't see her for 2 months!!! She was so excited to finally get some answers on the day of her appointment! We drove 45 minutes only to find out HE WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY!!! Her health has severely declined since seeing him! RUN FAR AWAY FROM HIS INCOMPETENCE!
