My mother has been on Amedisys Hospice for over a year. She receives the best care from her nurse, Katera. She is knowledgeable about dementia and the way it progresses. I have learned so much about dementia from her. We have a wonderful Aide, Amanda, that comes twice a week a helps her get a bath, not always a pleasant task but Amanda is always patient and caring with her. I worked with David Ryan of Amedisys to arrange hospice care for my mom. He and Amedisys coordinated with the case managers at the hospital and transitioned mom into their hospice care at her assisted living facility. Amedisys did so quickly and provided thorough and thoughtful care. I would highly recommend Amedisys based on our experience.
