Dad is on home hospice and both the nurses and CNAs just don't show up or lie and say they did. I'm sure Medicare is being billed for their no-show care. Aging parents is already hard for the family, the paid services shouldn't make it worse than it already is!
I do not recommend this hospice. My father is in hospice care with this company. One of the nurses who has come out to visit my father has consistently argued with my wife and me about how my father is being treated. She has placed blame and guilt on my wife and me for not taking care of my father. We have called the office and complained and we’re ignored. If you want compassionate care in your time of need, do not use this company.
My experience with Amedysis Kennesaw was exceptional. Carol (liaison) and Kelly (nurse) were knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. They treated us like family and were exactly what we needed during a difficult time.
