Amedisys is wonderful. When my dad was reaching the end of his life, Jennifer was there by my side, advocating for me. The nurse Shane was exceptional and I appreciated knowing that my dad was getting visits when I couldn’t be there. I wish I had gotten Amedisys services started sooner so my dad could have benefitted from their wonderful care for a while longer.
I have been using Compassionate Care Hospice for approximately 3 months for a loved one with severe dementia and other medical issues. The primary care person who comes to your home to provide/assist with the daily skills of life is a nursing aide who is inconsistent at best. Often no show, no call. This inconsistency in care isn't helpful for someone suffering with dementia. People suffering from dementia require structure, a dependable schedule they can ccount on.
