Amedisys hospice was instrumental in my loved ones passing. From the intake coordinator to our actual nurse they provided not only the much needed support for me making snap decisions at many crossroads but also helped treat my family member with the crucial pain management/anxiety meds so she was able to let go peacefully. I cannot fathom having to walk through that valley without them. They were our angels on earth!
I worked with this company when they come to my job helping my hospice residents. And also when my grandma became on hospice I loved I knew familiar faces at that difficult times they took so good care of my grandma I would highly recommend them
I want to thank the staff at Amedisys. Sally RN especially who was so caring and available. Sally made sure and always reassured us that my Mom wasn’t in any pain during her last few days with us. My Mom was very comfortable and Peaceful when she passed and even though my heart is broken I take comfort in knowing that my Mom is healed. Thanks to Serenity also.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The care was so bad I'm not even sure where to begin. My morher is suffering long term effects from a bed sore. The nurse from Amedisys applied zinc to the wound. Instead of cleaning it and packing it. Zinc was caked onto an open would. Thats just incompetent, as a nurse they should have known better. Then sent a supply of zinc for a wound of that size.
