While the service was very useful, the fact that it is apparently aimed at homebound invalids and people not expected to ever leave their home / prison was not fully explained in the thick guide book. The confusing schedules of multiple people and the abrupt termination of service as the patient attempted to get out of the house for a simple ride in the car (which was a goal of the rehabilitation) was very unhelpful and disappointing.
The PT..OT and nurses that came to take care of my husband were truly caring and trained to do the best possible job to care for him. They were all amazing.
We had had quite a Spring! On Easter my 93 year old Mum, who still lives independently , fell and broke her knee cap. Our main goal was to get her rehabilitated and able to return home. Brent and Denise were an awesome team who worked with us listened to our concerns, They customized her rehab to meet her goals and conquer her barriers. At the same time I was scheduled to have my left hip replaced and I had to continue helping my Mother recover. They worked with both of us. We had our own rehab facility at home.
