The register nurse was excellent that out for initial assessment. After that the LPN was just so unorganized, I had to ask her to clean the wound before rewrapping and she waited to contact my physician back the night before she would be off the next day knowing she was scheduled to come back on the day. My family member became gravely ill. At time for discharge from the hospital we had to decide between hospice and home health. My family member wanted to fight to get better. We reached out to Amedisys and they very promptly had a team of skilled nursing, PT and OT onboard working along side of us to help this determined soul to reach his goal. Physical Therapist, Chris, from the Burlington, NC, office is TOP NOTCHED. I had the opportunity to coordinate care for a mutual client, and he was amazing. He spoke in a way that the client was able to understand, and he was very detailed!!
Amedisys Home Health Care came to my home following extensive back surgery. I needed monitoring of my BP and a physical therapy plan to gain more mobility and independence. Maurice was my therapist. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and caring. He listened to my questions and concerns and supported me with assurances and encouragement. His exercises helped me become stronger and more confident that I was improving each day. I most definitely recommend this wonderful company. I give 5 stars times 2!! Joyce A
I've never had so much problem getting medical supplies. I've asked for 2 weeks just for saline and alginate rope. They keep telling me that they have a problem with shipping. They have to order the supplies, to have a problem with shipping. When I call the office, about supplies, they tell me either to call the nurse or that they will, and then neither call me back.
