I have used Amedisys twice this year And I couldn’t have asked for better home healthcare. The first time beginning of the year when I had a Serious fall Caused by heart failure and I could not bear any weight on my feet and had to calm ambulance after being in the hospital for week and a half my doctor ordered home health and I had nurses physical therapist and occupational therapist come in right away. My mom was on home hospice she was supposed to get a feeding tube they never gave one. They told my sister and myself that they pay 1200 for her service and anything over that we pay fine. Here we are on 04/21/24 and my mom is still in her urn at the funeral home and she passed on 03/21/24 because they still have yet to make a payment. They need information from the social security cause she was on disability which was never told to us from the start.
