This company was completely a disaster. Imagine being a contracted nurse , ready to excel in patient care but not having any organizational backup. I was told during my equipment setup which took 2 hours ( no one really knew anything , another branch helped ) how to prepare my days and if I needed anything I would receive the help. PT showed refused to help put shorts on to conduct theeapy. Shameful , dont come back.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at ALL! They cycle through therapists at an alarming rate. You get used to seeing someone and you request them, only to find out that they are no longer with the company. I used this agency for outpatient services and after completing my sessions i unfortunately was referred back by my physician for outpatient services again. It is my personal experience Amedisys does not care about their employees. My personal car was vandalized and burglarized while at a patient’s home. Amedysis has done nothing to compensate me for my damages. I was insulted by risk management as she told me the rate they pay for mileage is to cover the cost of damages to my vehicle. No efforts have been made to ensure the safety of clinicians.
