The front desk Ebony is lovely and very friendly & patient. The dentist Dr Ambrister doesn’t bother to communicate what she is doing or why. She literally comes in the exam room in a mask and starts working on your mouth (no hello, greeting). If you don’t ask questions, she doesn’t explain or say anything to you. Poor “bedside manner”. I would find another dentist. Receptionist is very nice, but dental experience was bad. Teeth cleaning was rushed, no dental updates were communicated, and the cleaning had water sprayed all over my face - looking directly at the lamp with no sunglasses.
I am so disappointed! My children and I have been patients at this office for years! We receive regular check ups and cleanings. The receptionist/ dental assistant is always a pleasure. The issue is the lack of communication. My teeth & Gums have been deteriorating and I didn’t even know it. I don’t eat sweets, don’t smoke and floss everyday. When Tracey Ambrister DDS first opened her practice in my community few years ago , she was warm and friendly. I recently returned to her after my employer gave me dental plan she participated with. My husband & I went for routine dental checkups. She just walked in the room, didn’t speak to us or explain what she was doing, just started working on our mouths.
