Do not go to Dr Murtha! She performed an unnecessary surgery on my cat that her staff even said was wrong, along with them telling me she does it all the time in regards to charging for extra services that I did not agree to, but was charged for anyway.
Dr. Murtha is amazing!!!! I took my male dog here for neutering over 3 years ago because she works with a program, but when my boy was sick and my primary vet couldn't see him even after explaining how bad he looked I called Dr. Murtha and she was willing to stay open late for us. She diagnosed my dog right away and gave him emergency treatment for an illness my primary vet missed. Dr. Murtha and I had a disagreement about the end-of-life diagnosis and treatment for my ailing 12 ½ year old dog. I opted for comfort over diagnosis/treatment. My dog had to be euthanized 1 month later. Due to this disagreement, Dr. Murtha giving me a bad reference on a subsequent pet adoption application. And as a result, my application was rejected.
