RecommendedSo I came today as a new client/patient. For my cat. I have been going to princess Ann in Fredericksburg but since I live in Culpeper now the hike to them after a long day of work is a lot. So I was able to set up and appointment really quickly. First they tell you on the phone to bring your pet in for surgery as early as possible 7/730 and they won’t let you in until 8 leaving you sitting in your car with an upset pet until 8. No consultation with an actual licensed vet or even meeting one the entire time my pet was in their care. Not even sure a vet was on the premises. Very disappointed I wasn’t at least consulted by the vet first or last but only by a tech. Only good thing was they agreed to keep my pet overnight because I work odd hours. I cannot get over how heartless you are. Dr. Whoever that put down my friend's cat yesterday morning (wasn't Burchard). How could you be so rough, cold, mean, hateful, completely without compassion? You can bet I'll be letting people know about you and your complete lack of professionalism.
I can't say enough about Dr. Burchard and his staff at Amberwood Veterinary Hospital. What a compassionate and kind group of people. They've always taken such good care of our bloodhound, Clementine. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
