Ambercare sent a caregiver to our home who overloaded and destroyed our dryer, causing nearly $1,200 in damage. I've been with Ambercare for quite a while and I'm telling you, find another service. The most recent problem is that my daughter who is my caregiver, put in for time off TWO MONTHS AGO, and they said it was fine. She's no longer in town now as she went on vacation and NO ONE SHOWED UP... AGAIN. So, I'm expecting THREE WEEKS without a caregiver because Ambercare can't be bothered to do the job that THE GOVERNMENT pays them for with TAX MONEY. Before your loved one is neglected, abused, and or taken advantage of. Before you as a spouse are given more stress and a quicker burn out…. Do not use this office. I am questioning the company as a whole since they have not improved services.
THE worst company in communication., follow up and follow through. Services are only as good as what they hire. Administration turn over in staff should speak for itself.
Not very satisfied with ambercare, when it comes for the weekend no one wants to work so I'm left in the dark. They never have anyone scheduled. This doesn't help me out at all.
