I checked in online. There was no waiting in the lobby. The staff was compassionate, understanding and took time to listen. Dr. Shanda, was very thorough with her explanations and expectations for the upcoming procedures. I didn’t feel rushed during the appointment. She was patient while I asked questions. Dr. Shanda confidence, understanding and attitude made me feel confident with her abilities for the upcoming surgery. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a dr of her speciality.
Dr. Shada was my surgeon for a LINX surgery back in January. Everything went exactly as it was supposed to, and my reflux is completely gone! Dr. Shada and her staff were great at each step of the process. I couldn't be happier with the results.
Very impressed with my pre-op visit! Both Dr. Shada and Dr. Chen (chief resident) answered each of our questions thoroughly. My only concern with UW is long wait times to secure appointments. My wait was 10 weeks to see surgeon after initial visit with PA at the minimally invasive surgery clinic. Now will wait about 6 more weeks for surgery.
