I do not recommend renting from Amber Property Management. Yeah, some of their units look nice and have updated amenities but don’t let that fool you. These property managers still operate like it’s peak COVID. Everything is non-contact: viewing the property, signing the lease, even basic communication. No real human interaction at all. Lived in these apartments since 2021 in two different units. Amber Timber Lodges was my first apartment in Michigan, I liked the style of the apartment and location. It was a bit pricey for what it was (a very small studio) but the apartment was home nonetheless. The bathroom I had at this unit was the best of the two I lived in. My second apartment that my wife and I shared since 2022 was at Amber Creek. We had wonderful neighbors, again a great location, but this apartment had a ton of maintenance issues. I truly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back after my deployment. Amber Properties has an amazing and understanding management team.
We just moved out of one of the Amber apartments after living there 2+ years and we loved it. The apartment was great and all maintenance issues were addressed in a reasonable time. We left because we bought a house but we would’ve been happy to continue to rent from them.
