I lived at Amber Pointe Apartments for almost 4 years. It was a great experience at first. Staff were friendly and quick to respond. Other tenants were respectful and courteous. I noticed with the change in management there was also a change in my experience. The majority of the staff became cold and seemingly uncaring. This is by far the worst apartment experience I have had. The unit I moved into had cockroaches all in the baseboards and kitchen cabinets. After living in the unit for a month, I learned that cockroaches were in my cabinets full of food and crawling on me at night as my skin was reacting to them. I moved out for two weeks as I could not live in those conditions until it was all taken care of, and I also had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. The maintenance staff and customer service here is similar to what you would expect from a 9 year old. Garages here get broken into quite a bit as well. No parking enforcement either. Snow removal sucks. And if you want anything fixed...you best have patience and expect to hassle them and hound them until they actually do something or fix it yourself. Being a new tenant, I would most definitely recommend to others. I needed a place to call home in a hurry and the office staff accommodated myself step by step along the way. I honestly couldn't have asked for more and I thank them. I've reviewed highly the maintenance staff and have yet not to need them. Thank and appreciate so far my experience.
