Get a decent return/exchange policy and explain it to your customers. God forbid someone buys something as a gift and you screw them over by up selling and refusing a refund. I suggest people shop elsewhere.
I went to Amazing Threads because they have the brand of needles I like. I bought size 8 32". I was unsure of the size and told the worker. I got home and found out I only needed size 8 16". I went back the next day and was refused an exchange. I was not told about this policy when I bought the needles. If I had opened the package or waited several days (having time to use them) this would be reasonable. I won't buy any more needles from them. The store itself is great and they have great classes and teachers.
Just left... Every time I'm in the shop - which is often - I see new things that o must have! And so I buy.
Beautiful handspun yarns and always wonderful help. This shop also has a vast selection of great pattern books to inspire!
Customer service is awesome! They are always willing to help. I started by taking a learn to crochet class and the girls at the store talked me into taking a learn to knit class. I was having problem with knitting and went to the store twice and Angel was my angel she helped me both times with know judgement. I enjoy knitting and continue to take classes.
