I rented from; I assume the father? I had just paid my daughters university payment and credit card was maxed out. He let me put a $500 deposit on debit and said he would return the money by cheque (I was confused who uses cheques these days? when I questioned him, he said he didn't know how to return on debit) when the car was returned.
