I had a great time during the shoot, Amaya made me feel confident & comfortable. Any nerves I had in the beginning were soon gone as the shoot progressed and her kindness and encouragement really helped. Working with Amaya didn’t feel like a typical photoshoot but instead like collaborating with a good friend where we mutually captured moments. Working with Amaya didn’t feel like a business transaction, it was an experience. It’s clear that she loves people… she wanted to get to know me before shooting. I don’t usually get photos done and she did a good job of advising me on what to wear and choosing locations that fit me as an individual.She guided me through the whole process which was super helpful. I felt like a model for the day! I don’t have social media but it made me want to get it just to share the photos!

While I am not one to like taking photographs, Amaya made it comfortable and fun. She eased my tension and got me to play around and loosen up, getting me pictures I genuinely felt good in. Usually, I only like a few photos of myself, but I found I came away with more photos I liked than I knew what to do with! Amaya is great at highlighting the best parts of yourself and capturing “essence” while checking the boxes. She is patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly easy to get along with.
