Some weird 3rd party called my wife claiming she owes over $1500. They send us a link to a portal, that is also linked from Amavi's website. I was able to log in and see they have a lot of my wife's insurance information, so it seems somebody at Amavi submitted this to the portal (MYIO) -- but... in order to see the bill, in order to get any sense how these costs have accumulated, they want a credit card FIRST. As a new patient, I had a great experience. Everyone was kind, respectful, and made me feel comfortable. I really appreciated the time they took to listen to me and answer my questions. I'm grateful for the care I received and would definitely recommend Amavi to others.

This is a horrible organization. People are customers - not patients or clients. I called in a crisis and they asked me what I expected them to do. "Call 911 if it's that bad". PoS corporate "health care". It's either voice mail or the call center in the Philippines. Meanwhile, they keep spamming my email and texts. Westminster phone number doesn't even work lol. Compaines like this are exactly why health care sucks. Please go out of business. EDIT: After stating no one answers the phone, they responded by telling me to call. How can you claim to be health care if you lack even the simplest of reading comprehension? Better idea. YOU get in touch with ME.

UPDATE: It took several follow up’s over the course of two weeks and a second erroneous charge, but Amavi did eventually return my money and seemed apologetic, so upping to 2 stars. I had a poor experience with Amavi. After completing their intake forms and selecting the therapist I wanted to see, someone from Amavi reached out to inform me that the therapist I selected did not accept my insurance. They offered to schedule me with a different provider who accepts my insurance. Great. I arrived to the virtual appointment, and... read more
