I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in Providence. I got an Italian grinder from this place which was just a ham and cheese sandwich. No salami, no pepperoni, no capicola it was literally a ham and cheese sandwich with tomatoes. Very disappointed. I have never had an Italian grinder with just ham and cheese. No other meat. Just worked a ten hour shift, so figured I’d have Amato’s for dinner purely starving. I’m not one to write such reviews but I’m hangry about this. Clearly asked the fella at the cash register for just a large ham & cheese with light pickle nothing else. Got home to enjoy my dinner to open my sandwich that’s fully loaded with no pickles. The guy at the register couldn’t even figure out how to ring up a pbr beer pounder can so I should’ve known better but this is the last time I’ll be coming to this location. Snow storms and still got 3 Italians ham/turkey/roast beef, large veggie stuffers, meatballs, 2 chicken salad sandwiches. We cut them up so each sandwich was in 4 pieces and my family of four, mom dad, and twin 14-year-old girls, ate a feast. The food was amazing, they had it done. The order to go in less than 25 mins. Service technicians seemed to be lacking emotions
Often my “go-to” on work nights when I just want something easy. Everyone is always so personable and I’m always surprised at how accurate they are on when the order will be ready when often times the parking lot is full.Jack was very friendly even with the multi tasking he was doing. Store was very clean .
Just ordered doordash from them spent 16$ just to get a drink because they felt that because they were closing down they didn't need to make the food so instead of even replacing it with something they just put a drink in the bag and sent it on its was clearly the workers there are very incompetent and should probably find another profession idk if I was the owner I'd personally fire my whole crew especially with all the bad reviews clearly somethings up
