Ordered some stuff during a sale and one of the items was out of stock but Colin went the extra step to make sure i still got something i was happy with. And man am I more than happy with the shoes and jacket! Shout out to him forreal, I'd always recommend shopping here if you find something you like, local or not!
This shop is the absolute best. I was trying to track down a particular deck along with some details and NONE of the big companies were literally any help at all, they wouldn't even respond or answer. These guys were a huge help, responded promptly and even threw in some grip, to boot. Solid all the way around.
I have made several orders from Amateur Athlete. All have been exactly what I ordered, shipped right away and at a great price. Recently I placed an order that was a little outside the box. Colin contacted me personally to make sure my needs were taken care of. He went above and beyond to not only get me what I wanted but had some items I didn't even know were available. I don't normally leave reviews but Amateur Athlete has been so good to me I felt that I needed to share.
My daughter and I are visiting from NC and wanted to check out the local shop. The guys working were so helpful and no pressure at all. Just super cool local skaters helping out some out of towners. If I could describe it a different way it was almost like we were all friends just hadn't seen each other in a bit, that was huge for me as my daughter is 14 and new to the skate scene, so she is getting to see how close we all are, no matter if from different places or as customers in a store.
