We were referred to Dr. Fawzi due to my husband's severe case of ret detachment, which had us deeply concerned about the potential loss of his sight. As my husband works as an IT Architect, his vision is crucial for his profession. Choosing to consult with Dr. Fawzi turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Dr. Fawzi, friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge immediately put us at ease. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures involved, ensuring we understood both the risks and the potential outcom... read more

Dr. Fawzi was cold as ice ; she was very vague in explaining my condition and was rude , uncaring and unprofessional. I have signs of early retinal detachment and a lot of fluid build up. Retinal detachment is her specialty and she did not know how to treat me and my condition and referred me to get a second opinion from a specialist. In the mean time she gave me steroid shots that left me in pain and made me feel worse then before. She didn't give me an accurate diagnosis or treatment plan and literally left the treatment r... read more

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Extremely unprofessional and doesn’t care about the patients. Does not know what she is doing.

Dr. Fawzi is very warm and caring. So far my condition, an epiretinal membrane, has not needed surgery and is under careful and regular watch as she suggested. It has improved a bit in the past two years but if it gets to the point where I feel I need surgery I would trust her completely.

My condition was incredibly challenging due to extreme nearsightedness. a genetic blood disorder, and just plain bad luck with multiple retinal tears and partial detachments. The final result was excellent and I am thrilled. Dr. Fawzi did miraculous work in 3 intense operations on my right eye and I will be forever grateful to her. She is a great surgeon with amazing technical skills. She has superb judgement and a warm professional manner. She is highly respected and lectures internationally.

Dr. Fawzi was cold as ice sheet; she explained that I might get light flashes or black curtain in my sight field. I researched these symptoms and it was related to Retina detachment; her specialty! She didn't give me diagnoses or treatment plan and dumped me to another doctor.
