Dr. discriminates against patients/clients with mental health concerns. Not ethical when it comes to community needs or support.
I have had several doctors for different things, but Amanda is my favorite. She has guided me and supported me through 2 bladder cancers. And 2 kidney stones removals, she's friendly thorough and each time I go in for a visit, I tell her that she's my favorite doctor. I highly recommend her and tell everybody I know and including doctors did, if they ever need a urologist, amanda is the to go to. One more upside, is it? She is relatively young and won't be retiring anytime soon.
Dr. Vandlac is wonderful! She listens to your concerns, provides quick responses when she is able, and is very good at providing urological care.
After Dr. VanDlac placed a urethral stent that was too large for my body she ignored my repeated phone calls regarding unbearable pain from the stent. Her staff kept telling me to take my pain meds that this was normal. "it's like having a big splinter in your body" they said. This was my third stent (others by different urologist) so I knew this was not normal. Doctor spent less than 10 minutes in the room with me. Sent me for a Ct never called or scheduled any followup. I had to call their office 3 times before the PA called me back and only offered me a medication that might help and might not.. not willing to find the root of the issue or willing to do any other diagnostics to figure out whats wrong. I requested a call back from the urologist and never heard back!! Don't waste your time or money!
