For over 35 years, GBI, a Canadian Federal Charter Corporation, owned a property on Hillsboro Mile, Florida. On April16,2024, the Canadian government delivered its 2024 budget that would significantly increase the taxes payable on capital gains, coming into effect on June 25th, 2024. After decades of hoping we could buy a little piece of Florida paradise, the perfect place became available. Amanda made it possible and expidited the transaction and kept me informed every step of the way.
Amanda is a great realtor!! She guided me thru the whole the process of renting my condo and provided great advice. I though I needed to wait for the renovations to be completed before looking for a tenant, but she found the perfect tenant for me when the reno was about to be completed. She did it all; worked with the condo association, provided the terms of the contract and etc. Always providing updates every step of the way. Amanda was always there for us. She started with a great property listing feed that was broad enough so we were able to chose but narrow enough so we were not losing time on irrelevant listings. Since we were remote buyers, she would go to a potential property and do a detailed video. She was advising is how to bid and what would be the realistic offer.
