My son was in the middle of having an anaphylactic reaction in the waiting room of her office. She came out and said she can’t administer Benadryl ( Zyrtec is the new recommendation btw) and watch for symptoms because she was too busy. She told me to go to Texas Children’s hospital (45 minute drive by myself with him in a backseat) can you imagine if he had stopped breathing because of the severe reaction. If you do not have health insurance, do not go to them.They overcharge you not very polite for people that do not have health insurance.And it's way too expensive for nothing, then they still don't give you a diagnosis of what's going on.But hey, they can charge you eight hundred dollars for nothing, find a better doctor
I Don’t normally leave reviews but I thought this was beyond worth it, Dr.Amanda McCord has been apart of my son’s journey since birth and it’s been a long emotional journey because he is speech delayed, eating issues and a handful of other things and I couldn’t have asked for such an amazing Dr. that I trust but also gives me tools and resources I need with a warm heart. Very caring and is a doctor that actually listens to parents' concerns. Not one of those docs that rush in and out in 2 minutes. Been a great experience for our family!
Just came back from this place for the pediatric I took my daughter to for her first year vaccinations and my experience was so bad I feel compelled to put a review. The nurse helping us before the doctor came in (dont know her name but she was a young African American lady) was very rude and when I asked her about giving vaccinations to my daughter would not engage or answer me.
