I could write a book on how terrible of a doctor Amanda McAlister is. She is the most dismissive and disrespectful adult I have ever encountered in a professional setting, and I do not understand how she managed to land a job where she is expected to HELP people. Terrible physician. A disgrace to what “Mercy” means.
I would give a -100 if I could, I don’t know where this woman got her medical degree but they need to revoke it. She is the worst doctor I have ever been to. She acts like she’s annoyed every time you bring something up she did not examine me. She did not care. This woman should not be in healthcare. I went in for severe wrist pain that I keep getting the run around for & was told to go back to my pcp. When I got there and explained what was going on she looked at me & said “So what do you want me to do.” Very unprofessional & rude. I switched primaries
Dr McAlister is very dismissive, doesn't look at you much, doesn't take into consideration your feelings about your own body or health, and I went in for back pain and she didn't even examine me and told me it was muscle pain. Ive been to two other doctors that suspect it’s not muscle. She also has terrible bed side manners as well. Anything I said she didn't even consider and acted like she knew what she was doing yet didn't examine me at all. Don't go to her. Im very unhappy with her.
