My visit here ended up turning into a 2 month long nightmare. Long story short, my insurance company was billed $533 for a 15 minute long consultation where Dr. Dempsey literally did nothing but look at the cyst on my finger and say I could get it removed if I want. Obviously now I can't get it removed, if they're price gouging me that much just on a short consultation can you only imagine what they'd charged me to remove it? I saw her about my hand. She was very informative and helpful about what I would need to do. I would recommend her to anyone.
My internist referred me to Dr. Dempsey for arthritis pain in my hands which was severely limiting to me. Dr. Dempsey sat down with me & listened to my history. She showed me my x-rays, explained the best plan for attacking the pain. I trust her completely - within two days the pain was almost gone, within a week I was pain free! I like that she provided an explanation about the problem and my options. 100% satisfied with her and with the treatment I received! Recommend her HIGHLY!
Earlier this year I 95% severed my left pinky in a freak accident. It completely severed one artery, and the entire bone, tendon and nerve. After receiving emergency medical treatment, I was referred to Dr. Dempsey. She had spent the entire weekend looking at my x-rays and photos of the damaged finger, performed surgery two days later and has been seeing me routinely since then. She has been phenomenal with my care and treatment, always taking time to explain things. I highly recommend her.
Worst experience ever. Very unprofessional, arrogant, and bad attitude. Waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room. 1.5 hour in the examining room before she arrived in the room. 30 minutes with her because I requested she do an x-ray to confirm my diagnosis versus just looking at me and ready to give me a steroid shot.
Very caring and thorough physician. Would highly recommend to anyone expecting the best of care.
