I love Dr. Bartholomew. She is always so kind and friendly at each appointment and takes the time to listen to why I am there and to answer my questions. She is thorough and each time her recommended course of action(s) has solved my ailment and got my health back on track. I changed doctors at this location to her after connecting well with her on a non-routine appointment where I could not get in to see my regular doctor.
I have had really good experiences with Dr Bartholomew She has always been thorough, professional, and friendly. I don't understand the negative reviews of her. It seems that some people are complaining about insurance problems rather than the actual quality of care or doctor's skill. Dr Bartholomew even warmed up the speculum before an exam! Amazing.
This is my second negative experience with this doctor. I won't go into detail about my experience to protect my privacy, but she truly made me question the symptoms I was experiencing. I felt stupid for having come in (at the suggestion of a nurse). It was good that I did though, because I needed medication to treat my condition. I really don't recommend seeing this doctor if you value being treated with respect.
Whether or not it's intentional, Dr. Bartholomew comes off as extremely condescending. I saw her in person once and she's responded to a number of my emails when my PCP is unavailable. When I saw her face-to-face I excused her attitude because everyone has bad days. But in my most recent email correspondence it was clear that condescending is her every-day style. If she was my PCP I would be very concerned that her attitude would interfere with my care. She's not likely to make 5280 Top docs any time soon.
Dr. Bartholomew is kind, friendly, and helpful. She genuinely cares about her patients and remembered to ask how my daughter is doing.
