Had a teledoc visit for my daughter who is extremely sick. This practitioner came on with an attitude and was so rude basically said guidance is to wait 14 days for treatment and then hung up on my daughter. This is a person who is treating patients? Terrible attitude, breaking code of contact. She doesn't belong dealing with sick patients.
Amanda hung up on me in the middle of a telehealth call and was generally extremely rude and dismissive. Her temper gets the better of her and when I brought up clarifying questions regarding my symptoms, I was dismissed and then ended the call in the middle of my sentence.
I went in with a chief complaint of severe abdominal pain. Ananda was very good with a diagnosis and treatment but I am disappointed that my pain was never addressed. I was not asked about my current pain level by anyone, nor did I have anyone inquire as to when I could expect relief from my pain nor to be encouraged to follow-up if pain did not subside. I had my first appointment with NP Amanda Hiestand today and I was very impressed from the time I walked in the door. The entire staff from the front office staff, the MA, NP Amanda who was very thorough and easy to talk to and the scheduler explained everything in detail and was also very thorough. Great experience.
First time seeing Amanda Hiestand, ARNP. She was wonderful!! She really listened. Highly recommend her.
