Second time we've had to go there and they can't seem to get their shiz together, both times. It's always something. I had another office make the last appointment for us and they said "they can't" Pathetic! We scheduled weeks in advance!
I have been a patient at the Elizabeth city office for many years. Last year after our appointment, We were scheduled for a yearly appointment in either June or July of this year. Then we were notified that Dr. Baughn retired so that appointment had to be rescheduled and that was rescheduled for August 1st. That day I received a call that the doctor was sick and would have to reschedule for May, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN 9 MONTHS AWAY. The front desk people were very, very nice, and the doctor good as well. However, they made me pay for everything - exam, contacts, etc. - up front since they said they would "have to bill my insurance." Called them up a month later and they still hadn't billed the insurance. 2 months later - hadn't "heard from the insurance". 6 months later they gave me most of the money back, but still had to "check with the insurance" to get the discount back on the contacts.
