bellissimo tried Amalfi's Pizza per a recommendation by someone. I wanted a Margherita pizza with sauce which is not on the menu. The traditional crust was hand tossed and slightly dark on the bottom but crispy and light. The sauce and cheese combo was yummy. It was a welcome find on my part since it is near impossible to find authentic Italian pizza and good sauce. I look forward to trying their pasta dish's.
Who wants to smell smoke during dinner? This location is closest to us, but we haven't been there in years because they still allow people to smoke cigarettes while other folks are eating. For that reason, I don't consider it a family-friendly atmostphere. The location by Lowes is non-smoking, so go there instead unless you want to leave smelling like an ashtray.
great food Although this restaurant is starting to be like a chain in this area, this location may have the best food and best service! The Philly cheese steak is incredible and the Spaghetti meat sauce is a definite must try! Prices are great and proportions are huge.. I would recommend this Italian restaurant and it would be a good "Date" location!

Life long customer but tonight I called three times and was placed on hold for 5-10 mins each time. Then the eventually hung up on me. Needless to say our family ordered elsewhere. Amalfis needs better ordering system if they cannot handle telephone calls. Girl answering the phone would not let me speak a word before putting me on hold.
If you are looking for authentic, delicious Italian food you have to come to Amalfi’s! This is the real deal. If you don’t see something you want on the menu Rosario will make it for you anyways (pasta carbonara)! Love the bread with dipping oil and fresh home-made dessert (cannoli made with Ricotta or home-made gelato)! And pizza!! Such a great find in Statesville!
