My wife and I are looking for new apartments currently and we were scheduled to tour this apartment at 1:00. We sat and waited for nearly 30 min and decided it was no longer worth the wait, as we had other tours to get to. Come to find out AFTER, according to a different rep, the unit they told us would be available was both not open for tour and not available on our timeline. I don’t appreciate being bait and switched and I suggest others triple check the unit they need is ACTUALLY available before showing up for a tour.
I used to really like living at Cortland Legacy Apartments, but recent changes have been disappointing. The biggest issue is the mandatory internet service provided through Gigstreem. All residents are required to use this ISP with no real option to choose alternatives. In my experience, the service quality is poor compared to the cost. The Wi-Fi coverage in the apartment is not reliable. The access point is installed in one corner of the unit, which results in weak or no signal in other rooms. Overall, for comfort of living, responsive staff/maintenance, and apartment design and feel, I give Cortland Legacy a solid A rating. Trash room is a little disorganized at times but that's more a resident practice than management. We greatly enjoyed our time living here and found the apartment sizeable, clean, and a perfect fit for our needs. Stayed twice. Absolutely loved it.
Came by to take a look at options and the leasing agent said you'll miss out on specials down the line if you 'tour the apartment' never heard this anywhere before. I was looking 4 months before moving and while sure i was away from decision making, that shouldn't make the agent decide if I am worthy of seeing the place or not. I work in sales and I don't kick people out after a 10 minute conversation because they are time away from their choice. I have decided on a final place which is not Cortland.
