viva Olimpia!! – I think that the staff at Amalfi ( I belive they are mostly family) is a hilarious and loving bunch. This place is a fun and wonderful place to eat some really fabulous, authentic Italian food
"A taste of Italy" – Authentic Italian in a modest setting. This is truly a hidden jewel in Charlotte. Try the "Penne Arrabiata" if you like pasta with a little kick(literally translated-"Angry Pasta") or "Chicken Vino Bianca," a tender breast filet in a tasty light wine sauce. Pizza.....NO CONTEST!!!!! Hands down, best in Town! Cheese is shredded on site, toppings are hand cut and cooked each day. No canned stuff here. Everything fresh, every day...including fresh baked bread and extremely reasonable $$$$.
