My braiding experience went well!! But the takedown experience was HORRIBLE!! First off she was so heavy handed and kept jerking/pulling my hair! It hurt more coming down than it did them braiding it. I kept my braids in for 2 months, when it was time to was my hair she proceeded to rake the brush through my hair instead of properly combing it out! She then proceeds to wash and condition my hair ONCE!! I had to make her re wash and condition my hair!! This service is almost $200, $175 to be exact!! It did not feel like a $17... read more

While the stylist was kind she did not know how to properly care for my hair. She RIPPED through my hair... read more

I went to Amandas for boho braids. I paid extra to have a wash and steam treatment done. Upon arrival, no one was in the reception area to meet me. Then a girl came back and told me to sit where a worker was sitting. The worker reluctantly gave up her seat and they told me to put my purse in her chair so they could wash my hair. I was taken to another room for my hair to be washed. Worst hair wash ever. They barely rinsed the shampoo out from the single wash that was done. Then my hair was blow dried with hardly any product ... read more
