I did not find anything beneficial with the Alzheimer’s Association as my mother battled this disease for several years. There was a complete lack of phone support. There was no one to tell me how to handle this disease and what text SPECT. Never mind doctors who are very dismissive and could care less about the elderly and Alzheimer’s but I expected more from the southern California Association. The emergency care my 88 year old mother received at Alzheimer's Association California Southland Chapter from Dr. Alexander and his team saved her life and restored the speech and motor capabilities that she lost. I am in awe of this team, and while they may perform at this level of excellence everyday, I just have one mother, and there is no doubt that they SAVED HER LIFE! The entire staff of Alzheimer's Association California Southland Chapter are my heroes, and I am deeply grateful for their care.
