Dr. Melin was amazing, very knowledgeable during my appointments and explained everything to me and what to expect the day of surgery. The day of surgery she spoke to me again before going under then when I was discharged she checked on me again. Very compassionate and knowledgeable.
Dr Melin immediately put me at ease during a super stressful time in my medical journey- I have full confidence in her expertise, skill and intuitive choices for my upcoming mastectomy closure, an aesthetic flat flap, which is my preference instead of breast reconstruction after mastectomy for a new breast cancer. It's my second time in the ring with breast cancer, and My Team, including St. Luke's University Health Network Surgical Oncologist Dr Tricia Kelly ROCKS!!
