Covid 19 infrastructure is not established, 2 hour plus wait times for lift tickets, misinformed staff, poorly allocated personnel.

What a wonderful place to stay for a few nights or 10 days. I love the location for day trips. We stayed a week and it was probably the best part of our trip. We saw Bears every day while hiking. The resort is elegant but warm and cozy at the same time. We were there in the summer - July. Food is fantastic too Whether your a hiker or just want to sight see. Make sure this resort is apart of your plans. Day trips from here are easy. While staying in Girdwood We went to Seward, over to sterling/Skilak lake area, portage, Whittier and the beloved Alaskan wildlife conservation Center. Don’t miss it!

Due to under foreseen circumstances we had to cancel our reservation. We were charged the entire stay. We understand the need for a reasonable cancellation fee to be charge but charging the entire stay is absolutely ridiculous and greedy. They would not even consider modifying the reservation for a future stay. Keep this in mind if you are planning a stay here. If your travel plans change, have weather delays or a family emergency you can kiss you money goodbye. Absolutely a one way street with them and horrible customer service.
