Hotel is great, mountain is great and staff is great, but they have to figure something out with ticket lines. We spent over 2 hours in line on Sunday in order to get lift tickets. Every other resort of this size and caliber allows you to buy tickets online, even hilltop which just got a pass system this year. a two hour wait in line is inexcusable especially when there is easy ways to get that down.

Covid 19 infrastructure is not established, 2 hour plus wait times for lift tickets, misinformed staff, poorly allocated personnel.

Business response:

Thank you for the feedback, Rusty and sorry to hear you had a bad experience during opening weekend. We have collected this feedback and given it to the appropriate team as a learning opportunity. While we know we never get a second chance at a quality first impression, we sincerely hope you come ski with us again this winter.

What a wonderful place to stay for a few nights or 10 days. I love the location for day trips. We stayed a week and it was probably the best part of our trip. We saw Bears every day while hiking. The resort is elegant but warm and cozy at the same time. We were there in the summer - July. Food is fantastic too Whether your a hiker or just want to sight see. Make sure this resort is apart of your plans. Day trips from here are easy. While staying in Girdwood We went to Seward, over to sterling/Skilak lake area, portage, Whitt... read more

Due to under foreseen circumstances we had to cancel our reservation. We were charged the entire stay. We understand the need for a reasonable cancellation fee to be charge but charging the entire stay is absolutely ridiculous and greedy. They would not even consider modifying the reservation for a future stay. Keep this in mind if you are planning a stay here. If your travel plans change, have weather delays or a family emergency you can kiss you money goodbye. Absolutely a one way street with them and horrible customer ser... read more
