Overall, a very comfortable and cozy place for 2 people to stay while enjoying the area. The cabin is a bit dated and the sleeping area is upstairs in a loft. Which can create issues for some. however, they do a great job of letting you know about the sleeping arrangement on their website. However, the "downstairs" kitchen and living room area is very well accommodated and comfortable. Overall, it is the perfect place for the area.
Highly recommend Alyeska Hideaway. Very clean. Great location. Cabin was larger & included more supplies than anticipated. I definitely will be back.
Beautiful cabin in a perfect location to see all the sights of Whittier and Girdwood. Wonderful host with all the accommodations one would need.
What a beautiful little cabin tucked away in a gorgeous setting with so much to offer! We had a wonderful experience - the cabin was super clean and very pretty. We had everything we needed and more. The hostess was right next door and very helpful and pleasant. We even saw a Mama moose and her baby right in our yard! The area of Girdwood was the perfect place to stay and explore. Our stay at Hideaway was unfortunately too short! We only could allocate one night to the hideaway on our roadtrip through Alaska but will definitely come back! The attention to details was exceptional!! Slippers, comfy bedding, spare quilts, toiletries, condiments, area information, etc. are just some of the notable things.
