I’m in the process of growing out a buzzcut and was searching for someone who could cut short, thick curly hair. I’m so glad I found Mina! She gave my hair a beautiful shape, and it’s so easy to style. I keep getting compliments on it, from friends and complete strangers. The salon is a nice environment and everyone was so professional and helpful.

I had really high hopes for this place and I think I might’ve just gotten the wrong stylist. I made a last min appointment and went in two weeks ago for a simple grey touch up root coloring. Everyone was super friendly and the salon is nice. I was assigned to Mina, and she was very nice. However, she was showing me all these color options and I just reiterated that I just wanted a match to my roots to cover greys. Well the one selected was very light. Frustrated in attempt to grow out my grey hair without either cutting hair short or waiting months for grow out. Met with Natalya at Alya Salon Spa in Vienna Va, after consultation felt confident in her recommendation for color correcting and grey blending. I’m thrilled with the results, schedule appointment every 7 weeks for personalize low lights in temple area to soften my natural grey hair. Highly Recommend Natalya for her knowledgeable and experience along with the staff at Alya Salon, friendly and accommodating

Natalya is fantastic! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since coming to Alya Salon. Natalya really understands how to cut hair based on hair type (she’s great with my wavy hair) and she also always listens to what kind of style and cut I would like. I highly recommend this place!
