Dr. Alvarez took great care of me today. I was very pleased with how he explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. Outstanding patient care and a GREAT sense of humor. Hard for me to believe some of the previous reviews.
Worst dentist ever!!! Talked and made fun of other patients with his dental assistant while they were working on me... His wife (secretary) texted me an appt reminder for future appt. I was in extreme pain after a visit over the weekend and I called and no one called me back that Saturday. I tried to call and text the number that the reminder was sent from and his wife responded to me and said there was nothing they could do. When I came in for my appt. One of the worst doctors let alone human beings I have ever met. All about money he is rude crude and needs a people skills class. Retire jerk!!
He is a good dentist but his people skills are lacking at best. I find his personality vile and combative. He yelled at me during a procedure for shaking when I was unaware that I was doing so. Due to his treatment of me I got emotional and he yelled at me because I was "stressing him out!" He has no self control and looses his temper on a whim. He is unsympathetic to financial responsibilities one might have other than dental care. Not a nice person at all. Glad to be rid of him.
VERY POOR! Would give Zero. First Time Patient, he "screamed" at me for over 30 min. for "nothing" Called me a liar ??? Needs to go back into his cage. Saw my health report of my being a stroke victim with hypertension and still screamed. I was physically sick for 24 hours after. Will NEVER return! Horrible man. Not a professional.
I am a new resident of Melbourne & I was referred to Dr Alvarez. I recently broke a crown & made an appointment with Dr Alvarez for an assessment. The tooth in question was extracted TODAY & prepped for an implant. Dr Alvarez explained the procedure in great detail. So DELIBERATE & steady was the extraction, I had no idea when the tooth was out, it was that painless. So far, so good. I am beyond thrilled with my experience. Had cleaning prior to the extraction, & hygenist Sheila was GREAT.
