Altura to me is a special occasion restaurant for foodies. Excellent service, nice ambiance. You don't order your food, it is a chef's choice tasting menu. In this case, the chef is amazing. It won't be everybody's cup of tea. There was amazing fois gras, and a wagyu beef steak tartare( I lived in France, this was the best I've had.) Not inexpensive, on the contrary, but totally worth it.
