Won't let me do a name change to my account I've had here since I was 15.5 due to marriage with all supporting documentation including certified marriage cert., social security paperwork, CA DMV paperwork etc without my husband here even though it's been MY account since I was 15.5 and all I want to do is change my last name to HIS and my address to HIS which is all ON FILE. This is just a silly system considering his name and signature is on marriage cert authorizing my name change!
So not the customer service as Visterra. Getting a new bank this weekend!
We have been a member of the Visterra which merged with Altura since the 1990s but for some reason our deposits are still subject to 2 or more day "Holds". We in the past went to Moreno Valley Cactus branch of Visterra where we were given outstanding service by several staff that know us. The Riverside University branch whether through high turn over or management decisions has often asked me to remove my hat or cap while others in the branch have their hat or cap on. Tried to make a payment on my Altura credit card. the payments were credited to my old Visterra card even though that account was cancelled. When I called to try and straighten it out, I was told that I would have to come in and personnaly cancel the account. Thats exactually what I did when I switched cards. Then I was charges a penalty because of Altura's error. Now I make a payment and no one can find it. Yes it was deducted from my account but no one can tell me what happened. I have been going to Altura Credit Union lately for several reasons and everyone there is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable but my favorite is ISAURA FERNANDEZ always helps and answers all my questions, will definitely keep going to her when I need something or have any questions, Thank You Isaura Fernandez
What a joke. Poor, slow customer service and incompetence reign supreme here. Not recommended for anything other than instilling frustration and rage.
