I had called to inquire about a Pterygium removal consultation and they had told me to come in and they can examine me and provide me with a quote. They proceeded to give me a full eye exam which I did not ask for and billed my insurance which trickled down to me paying a bill. They had gave me the impression it was a free consultation for a surgery that would cost thousands of dollars. Bryan Lee was also quite rude and unpleasant to speak with after waiting more than an 90 minutes for him to speak with me for 5 minutes.
Dr Chen and staff were very good but they DONT accept Medicare despite representing that they do. Claim they will submit a claim to Medicare, quote a low Co pay but then they bill the highest fees possible, don't accept or reduce their payment per Medicare schedules and harass you for the difference before the claim is even processed by Medicare. Then they say Medicare will bill the supplemental. No they don't. They cheat you into high fees. I won't ever return to this provider. Pure greed and no regard for seniors on Medica... read more

Dr. Lee is very skilled and amazing. I had a very difficult eye surgery. Some doctors would not even attemp my surgery. They said it was too risky. I was born with a coloboma. Then later had a cataract in this eye. My procedure was great. I have not been able to see out of this eye for years. While my vision will never be perfect because of my condition, I can now see. So happy. Dr Lee is the best. Melinda
