Slow nobody checked on my son for 2 hours even though he was brought in by ambulance with chest pain and had been given 3 nitroglycerin pills. Room filthy would not recommend to anyone.
UPMC Altoona Hospital is ranked one of the worst hospitals in the entire United States in terms of death from infections after surgery and hospital stays... look it up! They employ absolutely terrible doctors such as Dr Gates, Dr Harvey and Dr Drass. Constant problems with scheduling, billing and referrals. Not to mention general carelessness. If at all possible travel to Nason or better yet Pittsburgh for your medical care. Absolutely NOT recommended!
