Italy is truly the inspiration for all that we do at Altony’s Italian Café. Much like the people of Italy, we want to bring you the warmth, genuine hospitality, and the importance of family. Our portions are big and our prices are reasonable. Our goal is to get rid of the fancy advertising and slogans and instead we’ve focused on our food – and can we just say, it’s pretty amazing.

Service was slow as molasses on a cold winter day. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich. What I got was an OLD bun with two tiny chunks of rubbery chicken. Inedible. I PM'd about our visit. They read it, but never replied. HORRIBLE customer service. Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy.

First time visit, based on a recommendation from a friend. We had the Steak Medallions (served w/ gorgonzola cream sauce) for a starter, and the Sausage & Peppers (penne w/ alfredo sauce) and Tuscany Pork Tenderloin (penne w/ marinara sauce). Good food, lunch or supper.
First time visiting. Food was inedible. Chicken tasted like an old man’s armpit and the spicy alfredo was like eating spoonfuls of cayenne powder - crazy hot and not blended with the sauce at all. It’s like every herb and spice is added last minute and not allowed to marry resulting in extremely heavy handed unbalanced flavors. The standard alfredo was tasteless.
