This doesn’t qualify as a “mall”, this is a graveyard where malls are laid to rest.
They don't really have a whole lot like St. Claire square in Fairview Heights

The Santa they have this year is rude and horrible. I will never take my kids back unless they get the good one back. I had the worst experience tonight.
Alton sqare was a joke when it first opened. My family would drive to Jamestown for Sears. Alton has really gone down hill in forty years.
Sad to see so many empty stores (now Kirlin's & Things Remembered, closing end of June!) I'm thankful for Anchor stores still there: JC Penney's + Ross for Less, etc!!
They use to have stuff to do during the summer. Since new owners nothing I would go to all the events there
