Walked in today to finally lease the apartment I REALLY wanted but was told I had to make 2.5x of the 60% income restricted apartment. The apartment was $960. 960 is 60% of $1600. 2.5x960 is about $2400. I had on paper that I brought in $1600 a month after my tuition was taken out as a student. Well apparently I need 2.5 x the 960 now but once you do the math 60% of $2400 is $1,440 not $960. Very confusing.
Could you please tell you tenants that park around the courthouse to only take up one parking spot!! There's 2-4 cars/trucks that every morning are double parked. We have to park farther away from the courthouse door because of this. I can post pictures if needed!! Thanks!! Update: I will continue to post pictures of every vehicle that double parks around the courthouse. There's employees who work at the courthouse in the sheriff's department 24/7 and maintenance who would enjoy parking closer to the entrance/exit also. Free... read more

My daughter and her boyfriend went to view and apply for a one bedroom apartment. It was recommended to them because they are just starting out and need something for low income renters until they can acquire better, higher paying jobs. The lady, TAMMY, who took them to see the apartment kept trying to push an $1,125 unit (with a dirty, scratched & dented fridge) on them that they clearly could not afford right now.
